MLB Salaries down 17 percent

According to a yearly survey, the USA Today is reporting that MLB salaries at down 17 percent from last season. The measure is the largest decrease in pay since the newspaper began charting Opening Day salaries. The average player salary has been reduced to $2.7 million from $3.2 million. ESPN is reporting that WorldAnti-Doping Agency(WADA) president John Fahey called on Major League Baseball to start testing all players on human growth hormones on HGH. Fahey takes a stand against MLB, and saying that if MLB and Major League Players Association wanted to get rid of cheats, they would immediately start out-of-competition testing and the collection of blood samples.
